  1. hi rosie
i have 2 cabbage patch dolls and different people tell me they are 16 inch and others say they are 18 inch patterns the original was bought when they first came out and the other around 2004 they are the same size i get very confused

    • Hi Jennifer, Please don’t get over concerned as you will probably find that the torso of the 16 inch and the 18 inch dolls are very similar and so the patterns will be very similar. I have the measurements of my 18 inch Cabbage Patch doll here that you may like to compare to your dolls. You may also find a blog I have written about different sized dolls wearing the same sized clothes helpful, it can be found here.

Good luck and I’d love to know how you get on.

      Happy sewing

  2. Rosie,
You have done a wonderful job of bringing us new ideas and outfits to keep us busy and to keep the dolls in style. Thank you! I look foreward to trying them out!

    hi rosie
thanx so much for replying the 2 dolls i have are different sizes i thought they would all be the same size the original doll is smaller than the other one the american dolls would there clothes fit the cpk

    • Jennifer, I’m not sure if the American Girl doll clothes will fit your CPKs as I don’t know what your measurements are and there are so many different sized CPK dolls. Have you compared you dolls measurements to those listed on my doll sizing page? Some of my 18 inch and American Girl doll clothes patterns do fit my 18 inch CPK but because the cloth CPK dolls usually have thicker and shorter limbs you may be better to go for the CPK patterns when there are sleeves or long pants involved. You can find my CPK patterns here.
      Happy sewing
